3 Steps To Plan The Week Ahead So You Can Get In Shape Faster
Sunday is a great day to enjoy time with family, rest and relax, and get yourself ready for the week ahead.
There’s always been this different feeling in the air, at least for me.
On the other hand, that means Monday is rapidly approaching…
So today I figured I’d share how I typically plan ahead for the week to stay on track with my fitness game:
Step 1: Get My Food In Order — Whether this means I make sure I’m stocked up on the essentials like chicken, eggs, yogurt, cheese, and rice, or leaving room for takeout… I know exactly how many calories I need to eat every day to reach my goal. This is paramount.
Step 2: Schedule My Workouts — Now that I’m getting in the groove with my new home and new job, I can plan my workouts much more consistently. Monday, Wednesday and Saturday seem to be the best days for me, so I use my calendar app to schedule workouts on those days at 7pm.
Step 3: Take care of odds and ends — I’ll put my supplements in that weekly divider thing, plan some newsletter content ideas so I spend less time on that after work, and overall set myself up for success across the week.
