3 Ways To Create A Calorie Deficit (Number 3 Is My Favorite)

I always talk about being in a calorie deficit to start losing weight, but only focus on one method even though there are 3.

So today I’ll break down how these 3 diet methods work so you can see which one works best for you:

1. Reduce the amount of time spent eating

This isn’t about eating fast, since that can have the opposite effect, but instead only eating at specified time windows.

Aka fasting.

This could mean not eating for up to 3 days, or skipping breakfast or dinner.

I can’t say I recommend skipping entire days…

But only eating from noon-8pm or 6am-2pm is a solid strategy and makes it a lot harder to eat too much.

2. Only eating certain types of food

This is where you cut out carbs, cut out meat, or cut out anything but meat.

(crazy how divided the world can be on the whole eating meat thing…)

Not only will you cut out things like rice, potatoes, bread, and other high carb foods like that…
