3 Ways To Do Cardio That Don’t Feel Like Cardio

I’m not ashamed to admit the only thing I like about cardio is the feeling of when it’s done and over with.

But spending a half hour on the treadmill, elliptical, or stair master is something you’ll find me skipping out on more than partaking in.

However, it’s still important to move the body in a way that lifting weights doesn’t quite cover, which is aerobic exercise.

Fortunately, over the years I’ve discovered a few ways to do cardio that don’t feel like cardio:

1. Watching Netflix — Alright, alright… I don’t mean sitting on the couch and binge watching your favorite series. But I do mean watching an episode or two while on some kind of cardio equipment. This is the most cardio-y of the three here, but watching a good show really takes the sting out of it.

2. Picking up a physical hobby — There are too many physical hobbies to count, but a few categories are team sports like basketball, racing sports like cycling, combat sports like martial arts, and skill based sports like archery. Some of these burn more calories than others, but all of them burn more than nothing. Plus you get a hobby out of it. Win/win.
