Airing The Downsides To Becoming My Client For Weight Loss
In my clearly biased opinion, becoming a client of mine is a good idea if you want to get in shape, but there are some downsides you may face too.
So I figured I’d air the details now so there are no surprises later.
Here they are:
1. You might feel like you’re not doing enough
This will depend on how we set up your program and your own perception, but a lot of people don’t think spending 10 minutes a day tracking calories, a few workouts per week, and walking a bit more is doing much.
“Where’s the blood, sweat, and tears?” You might ask…
Well, considering I don’t experience any of that (except maybe a single tear before my 6am leg day in my cold garage…), it’s not necessary to get results.
What I do is help you reframe expectations of what a good workout or diet structure should be so you can get consistent, sustainable results over time.
2. You’ll need to buy a new wardrobe
The amount of times over the years I’ve had to throw away old clothes that were too big or didn’t fit right anymore is kind of crazy.
