Everyone knows if they want to get in shape they have to be consistent with diet and training.

No surprise there.

But what so many people overlook is an incredibly basic yet highly effective task which takes only a few minutes but can dramatically increase your success rate on your fitness journey.

And that’s making it a part of your daily and weekly schedule.

Here’s how to approach this if you’re struggling to be consistent:

1. Make Tracking Your Diet Part Of Your Morning Routine — You already have to get up, get ready, and go to work every day. Spend 5–10 minutes planning your meals in MyFitnessPal before you go so you can simply just eat what you gotta eat and know you’ll be on track.

2. Schedule Your Workouts In Advance — Write down the specific days and times you’re working out each week and schedule it like a doctor’s appointment. It’s easy to say in your head “Oh I’ll workout on these days” and forget. If you write it down, it’ll automatically hold more importance in your mind.

I’ll be the first to admit sticking to these 2 things in a way that brings the results you want is not easy.

But it’s not like the physical actions are all that hard…
