Do You Need To Use A Food Scale To Get Results?
One of the best fitness tools I’ve ever purchased is a food scale, but do you need one to get results?
The answer is no.
However, I still think it’s worth using one for a few reasons:
1. A food scale will help you be more accurate
For example, most people have no idea how much a serving of peanut butter is, and “2 tablespoons” could be somewhere between 100–600 calories or more.
Knowing how to measure out 32g is a game changer, and this applies to all foods.
2. It’ll make your recipes taste more consistent
Ever make pancakes?
Ever have them be perfect one day and absolutely terrible another?
Imagine being able to make them perfectly every single time…
This is the power of using a food scale to measure ingredients
3. You’ll get a really good visual on portions
For example, knowing what an 8oz serving of chicken looks like is a superpower
You’ll be able to stay on track better with less effort, but you’ll need to use a food scale for a while to truly learn this
