High Protein Homemade Frozen Yogurt
I’m not big on posting recipes, but this one was just too good to not share.
After a long day of working my new job as a manager of an auto repair shop, I had dinner, spent time with my family, and cleaned up a bit before getting ready to get ready to wind down for the night.
You’ll see what I mean by that in a moment.
But since I already knew I was a tad low on protein and didn’t have enough calories left for my typical oat bowl…
I thought for a moment on how I could get protein in without resorting to something boring like 2 cups of lower-fat milk or plain yogurt.
So here’s what I did:
Before taking my pup on her last outdoor trip of the night, I slapped 2 fat servings of greek yogurt in a bowl and mixed in a serving of frozen blueberries.
I then proceeded to slap that in the freezer, take my pup out, switch the laundry in the dingy dungeon basement of this airbnb, kiss my wife goodnight, then come back up to write this.
And on the way to this strangely orange sofa, I slapped open the freezer and slapped my frozen yogurt into my hand.
(okay… truth be told, I’m slapping more slapping into this email than I really slapped, because I’m not really slapping anything)
