How I’ve Been More Consistent With My Workouts Despite Being Busier
The last few weeks have been chock-full of errands, tasks, and appointments, and I’ve added back my vlog and the podcast into the mix recently outside of my 50+ hour work weeks…
And yet…
I’ve somehow been able to be even more consistent with my workouts than usual.
There are a couple reasons why this is, and one of them is admittedly more tiring while being more energizing at the same time.
The other one?
It’s virtually a Jedi mind trick.
I’ll explain:
The Schedule Hack To Consistent Workouts
When I get home from my 11 hour work shift as an auto repair shop manager, I have a few things I need to do in fairly quick succession:
1. Take my pup outside and feed her
2. Cook or help get dinner ready
3. Spend the all-too-little time with my wife and daughters before they go to bed, with me running our buttery smooth night time routine for our toddler, including her nightly yogurt, prepping coffee for the morning (she absolutely loves helping me), and teeth brushing time in that order
