Everyone starts working out to get some kind of results… but how long does it actually take to get some kind of results?

There’s a simple answer and a more complicated answer.

So let’s start with the simple answer:

At least 90 days.

The more complicated answer explains why:

On day 1, you took a photo of yourself to remember where you started.

30 days into your diet and training program, you’re just getting the ball rolling, building good habits, and noticing the psychological benefits of hitting the gym.

Maybe you’ve lost 4–5 pounds of actual fat tissue, and you may have gained 1–2 pounds of muscle at the same time.

Your total body weight could have dropped considerably, or maybe not much at all.

By day 60, you’re really solidifying those habits you built in the first 30 days, and maybe you’re down another 3–5 pounds of fat and up another 1–2 pounds of muscle.

You’ll start seeing some changes in the mirror, but still nothing crazy yet.

This is the point where it can get a bit mentally tough to keep up with the diet…
