How Long Workouts Should Take If You Want To Get In Shape

I’ll have to tweet that lol but it’s true:
Back when I was working at the gym, I would see all kinds of workout styles and approaches.
Some people would sneak in a quick 15 minute session on their lunch break.
Some people would come in after work for an hour or so.
Then you had the overly dedicated who would spend multiple hours working out, socializing, doing cardio, and doing more socializing before finally going home.
Even though the latter crowd was not the norm, even they realized you can’t train hard for all that long.
If you’re hitting the weights properly and doing 2–3 tough sets per exercise, you’ll be fairly tired by your 3rd exercise.
And if it takes 1 minute per set and 3 minutes rest, each exercise will only take 8–12 minutes max at a casual pace.
5 exercises at this cadence? 40–60 minutes.
