How To Get Back On Your Diet After A Break
Got a request inside my Inner Circle recently:
“how to get back into a healthy habit after being away from it for over two months.”

Because yesterday I talked about the difference in my physique between having my first daughter and my second daughter here …
And during my wife’s first pregnancy, I didn’t track calories or train all that hard, so how did I get back into it?
Well, the first thing was seeing myself in the mirror and in pictures.
Not terrible, but not where I wanted to be.
At all.
Eventually my mind put the pieces together and it was time to get to work.
I needed to be in shape and stronger to take care of my family, and that was all the motivation I needed.
From there, I set up MyFitnessPal again, got my calorie and protein goals in order, and started making better food choices that fit those goals.
I had about 20 pounds to lose and knew it was going to take a while, so I took the chill approach and played the long game.
Not rushing to drop all that weight in a month.
