How To Hate Dieting And Make Sure It Never Works
I’ve talked to hundreds of people about diet and training over the years so I’ve gathered a lot of insight about the state of fitness from everyday people.
And one of the things I heard a lot was about how restrictive people tend to be when they’re trying to get in shape.
Cut carbs.
Small portions.
Chicken breast, salad, protein shakes.
And I’ll tell you right now:
Highly restrictive dieting works.
If you stick with eating like that for long enough, you absolutely will lose weight…
…until you decide it’s not worth it, give up, and go back to what you were doing before.
Then next year rolls around and you’re heavier than last year, so you tell yourself you’re going to take it seriously this time around.
And maybe you do for a bit longer…
Then the same thing happens.
I’ll just put it this way:
Hypothetically speaking, if you need 2,500 calories per day to maintain your current weight, cutting that down to 2,200 will eventually become mentally tough to keep up with.
