It’s crazy how your mind can play tricks on you, especially when it comes to diet and training.

For example, doing the workouts you know you need to do isn’t easy…

But after a long work day or if you’re feeling tired, it’s a whole lot harder to simply get started than it is to do the thing itself.

All you have to do is get up, get ready, and lift heavy objects, and yet our minds try to convince us that sitting on the couch is a better idea.

Or when it comes to diet…

Do you really need that king size Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups or an unknown number of sour cream and cheddar Ruffles?

No.

But for whatever reason, sometimes that sounds so much better than a well-seasoned, nutrient dense steak, home-cooked fries, and veggies.

We can all be our own worst enemy sometimes, but here’s the cool part:

We can all also take back control whenever we please.
