How To Stop Snacking: 5 Tips That Actually Work
Snacking is one of those tricky subjects because on one hand I don’t think there’s anything wrong with having a snack every day…
…but on the other hand it’s one of the biggest reasons people struggle to get in shape because the calories add up so fast, especially when they’re on top of regular meals.
So today, I figured I’d break down several key strategies I’ve used to limit or even eliminate bad snacking habits so you can drop weight and look better with less effort.
1. Eat Protein And Fiber Rich Meals
One of the best ways to feel more full so you’re less likely to snack is by eating two of the most filling nutrients: Protein and fiber.
Protein will keep you full longer since it’s not as easy for the body to digest, and helps with recovery and muscle growth.
It’s a 2 for 1 special really.
And if you add in some fibrous foods like sweet potato, oats, nuts, seeds, fruits, and veggies which also take the body longer to digest…
You’ll have that full feeling for a whole lot longer than that whole big bag of chips you accidentally ate.
But this is only one part of the puzzle…
