I Ate Too Much… (Here’s What I’m Doing About It)
Even as a weight loss coach with years of experience working with people in and out of gyms, I’m not afraid to admit I ate more than I planned to recently.
We had a busy morning followed with back to back appointments and I didn’t go in with a plan.
So my bright idea was to hit up Taco Bell while my wife was at her appointment, and I somehow ordered enough to feed a family of 4.
The only problem was…
No one in my family of 4 likes Taco Bell but me.
I got a steak quesadilla with no jalapeno sauce so my daughters could try it…
They had one bite each just to humor me (at least it seemed that way since they wouldn’t have another).
I got a bean burrito.
Big nope.
And I got the fiesta potatoes which I thought was a winner, but that one got 2 bites each and that was that.
Shortly after my failure to provide a lunch approach…
It was all gone.
It was at that moment I realized… I messed up.
Now on my normal maintenance calories, it would have been fine.
