I’m Making An Unexpected Adjustment To My Workouts For Summer
It’s somehow already after 10pm as of writing this and I just got back from the gym.
But I didn’t even do a workout…
Said gym happens to be in my garage which lacks airflow and I haven’t got around to buying a fan yet.
So as of right now it’s like a sauna in there.
Up until now, I’ve been doing most of my workouts at night after my wife and kids go to bed because it seems to make the most sense for my schedule so I can write in the morning…
However, I don’t think it’s going to be sustainable for summer.
On top of that, I started a new job within the last week which has been going well, but my usual night time energy just isn’t there.
So my solution?
Wake up, get coffee, hit the weights.
I’ve done this before even while working an earlier shift than I am now, so it should be no problem.
Plus I’ll be able to come up with even better ideas to write about or at least sort through the dozens of pending ideas in my notes during rests between sets.
I just might be the way forward but we will see.
I’m buying a fan either way.
