It’s Boring, But This Can Help Anyone Lose 20 Pounds Or More

Fitness professionals can use all the marketing tactics they can think of to make fitness sound fun and exciting…

But the truth is getting good at the boring, repetitive actions are where the magic happens.

Here’s exactly what to do if you have to lose 20 pounds or more:

1. Get in a calorie deficit (and how to actually do it right)

The number one reason I was able to drop over 31 pounds as a complete beginner was because I figured out how to eat less than my body needed in a smart way.

Once you’re able to do this, your body will use stored energy to make up for the lack of food via muscle glycogen, body fat, and muscle tissue.

(that last one is why resistance training is so important… more on that in a bit)

The best way I’ve found is to use a TDEE calculator to get an estimated starting point then subtract 500 from that number to get your daily calorie goal.
