July 2023 Fitness, Business, And Personal Goals

It’s a new month and we’re now halfway through 2023, so it’s a good time to set some goals or at least refocus on the ones you have set for this year.

Last month I set a few goals, so let’s see how I did:

1. Welcome Baby 2 to this Earthly realm — Halfway through the month, my wife Martha, our daughter, and I woke up at 3am, got ready, and went to the hospital for 5am for a scheduled c-section. The whole process went incredibly smooth and now we’re a family of 4! It’s been absolutely amazing and words can’t quite describe just how amazing it is.

2. Enroll at least 1 new client — Admittedly, I could have done better with promoting my coaching services but my mind was elsewhere. Namely on helping my wife during the final stretch of pregnancy and now with our newborn and toddler. Sure, I sent a good dozen emails across the month with my offer, but aside from that… I didn’t do much. The result? No new clients.

3. Get down to 156lbs bodyweight — Much like my client-getting efforts, I didn’t put much into weight loss. I’m definitely a bit leaner than I was a month ago, but my weight actually went up 0.4lbs from 160.0 to 160.4. Technically this is a fail, but considering how mentally and physically busy I was this month I’d like to still consider this a win.
