Keeping It Real About My Eating Habits (And The Chaos Of Life)
One of the things I keep nattering on about lately is adherence, meaning how well you stick to your routine.
Since we’re coming up on the halfway point of this 6 week leaning out phase, it’s a good time to review how things have been going.
Here are the numbers:
Days completed: 19
Days normal calorie goal hit: 15:
Days high calorie goal hit: 3
Days I ate too much: 1
Average workouts per week: 3
Average daily step count: 4,828
The first 2 weeks went incredibly smooth, but then…
Week 3 hit and everything went haywire…
Without going into any gruesome details, my wife broke her foot and opted for corrective surgery instead of risking it healing wrong.
So for the next 5–7 weeks…
I’m taking care of her and our babies since she can’t really put weight on that foot until it heals.
And get this…
I told my job I needed that time, and they told me to work my shifts or F myself.
