My 1+1 Muscle Growth Strategy Revealed
There was a point in my training history where I thought you didn’t need to do anything but compound exercises to build muscle and get in shape.
The reason I thought this was I got sucked into some YouTube trend where fitness dudes all started saying you didn’t need to train arms directly to grow them.
One day, it’s “Brutal Arm Workout For Growth” and the next?
…it’s “Why You Don’t Need Bicep Curls”
Smh…
It’s no wonder why people can’t seem to figure out what works and what doesn’t, because people with big followings online are contradicting themselves and others.
I’m not exempt from this either since I still have a blog post or 3 floating around talking about not needing isolation exercises.
And it’s true.
Most people can get away without doing curls or calf raises or glute kickbacks and still get in great shape.
As long as they focus on compound exercises and getting a little bit better and stronger over time, it’ll all work out.
Workout? Ha, get it?
Anyway…
This leads me to my 1+1 training strategy.
