My Approved Drink List For Weight Loss

One of my biggest diet secrets has been not drinking anything with calories.

From sugar laden “coffees” to sodas to juices to alcohol, all these kinds of liquids add up quick.

Let me give you a very realistic, yet low key example.

A Typical Day In The Life Of Your Average Adult: Drink Edition

Let’s say you like coffee as much as I do, but you’re not a fan of black coffee, so you get a medium iced caramel swirl on the way into work.

170 calories.

Not bad, but we’re not done yet.

You make your way to mid day, clock out for lunch and decide to have a crisp 24oz bottle of Sprite with your meal.

280 calories.

A bit higher, but still not much, right?

Well, when you get home from a moderately stressful work day you decide to crack open a cold one and have a Miller light with dinner, and another one after.

192 calories.

And even if you drink only water for the rest of the day, here’s where we ended up with only those 4 reasonably sized drinks across the day:

642 calories of just liquid on top of any meals you ate.
