My Bold Plan To Build Muscle Without Bulking
It’s a long held belief that after you’ve been lifting weights for a while, it quickly becomes impossible to gain muscle without gaining fat.
The accepted exceptions are:
1. If you’re new to lifting weights
2. If you’ve taken a long break
But there’s also a third ‘much-less-talked-about’ reason which can absolutely hold true, which is if your training has been lackluster for a while.
You can still build muscle without being on the most scientifically optimal program…
It just might take quite a bit longer.
In my case, I’m in an interesting position where I kinda fall under the second and third reasons.
I never really stopped lifting weights, but I took a long break from heavy weights and the weights I’m lifting right now aren’t all that heavy.
And so I’ve decided to use that to my advantage and build muscle without bulking.
Just training hard and training well.
Because I’ve also done the exact opposite approach where I gained 50 pounds in a far too short timeframe.
