My Dad Physique With Baby 1 Vs Baby 2

Martha and I had our first daughter in October 2021 and at that time…

My physique was swiftly approaching the classic dad bod territory.

At that point, I had stopped tracking calories, wasn’t hitting my workouts as hard as I could have been, was still on unemployment due to the cove, and was only focused on building my email copywriting and infoproduct business while we waited for our first daughter to arrive.

(After making less than 5k in a year and a half in that biz… I closed up shop and got back into fitness content where I should have stayed in the first place, but anyway…)

Needless to say…

I gained a bunch of weight and was unhappy with the way I looked.

By the time she was born, I was sitting at around 182lbs at 5'11".

Not a bad weight by any means…

But considering my training habits were lackluster at best and the fact I was 159lbs when we found out Martha was pregnant…

It wasn’t a good look.

Especially considering I wanted to get back into the fitness space, which I eventually did around this time last year.

So from conception to birth of my first daughter, I gained around 23 pounds.
