My Take On Fitness Influencers Claiming We All Have The Same 24 Hours In A Day…

I’ve spent more time than I’d like to admit on Instagram and Threads and one idea I’ve seen floating around is this:

“We all have the same 24 hours in a day”

This is a statement usually said by 20 something year old fitness “influencers” who aren’t married, have no kids, and post pictures of themselves flexing for a living.

On the surface, it’s meant to be inspiring for their followers to diet and train…

But in the other corner, you have the busy parents who work full time all up in arms getting mad about it and saying stuff like:

“Just wait until you get older and have REAL responsibilities”

My stance on all of this?

I’m going to have to give 10 points to the fitness influencers on this one…

They’re more right than wrong.

Sure, everyone’s day may look a little different so the statement isn’t technically 100% correct.

But it’s not like a 20 year old gets 26 hours a day while a 43 year old parent gets 22 hours.

Both get 24.
