Even though I’ve been a big fan of the classic pen and paper lately, there’s no doubt using some apps can make your life easier.

But with all the fitness apps out there, it can get overwhelming to decide which ones are best for you and your goals.

So today, I figured I’d share my top 3 apps you can use to get results with your diet, your training, and get closer to your ideal physique every day.

1. MyFitnessPal — I’ve only talked about this app about 9,000 times, so who saw that coming? Jokes aside, it’s been my favorite app for tracking my calories, keeping myself on track every day, tracking my bodyweight, and taking the thinking out of dieting. I simply take a few minutes per day to plan out my meals so I can just go ahead and eat them while focusing on more important things like my life mission. Also, you do not need to pay. The free version has everything you need to get results.

2. Apple Notes/Google Keep — While I use both of these apps for various things, you really only need one depending on the phone you have. All I do here is write out my workouts in a single note with exercises, sets, and reps, and aim to beat those numbers the next week.
