If you’ve been reading my articles for any length of time, you know I talk about controlling your diet and hitting the weights all the time.

That’s because they’re the biggest needle movers in terms of getting your goal body.

No question there…

But like Peter Drucker said:

“What gets measured, gets managed”

And it’s true.

So I wanted to share a few key things you can do each day to make sure you’re on the right track.

Let’s get right into it:

1. Track Your Calories — I keep bringing this up because it’s the easiest and most impactful way to drop the extra lbs and change the way you look, regardless of what you choose to eat. You simply control the total amount of calories (and ideally protein too) to get your desired result. I’ve been doing this for over a decade now, and it works every time.

2. Weigh Yourself — Most people I talk to hate stepping on the scale, and I don’t blame them. No one wants to know how far away their goal seems, but here’s the thing: It’s only designed to be a measurement too, so step on the scale, log your weight, and move on with your day.
