Saitama’s Strength Secrets Revealed

Once or twice a month, I allow myself a bit of right-to-left reading instead of left-to-right.

Aka manga.

There are really only two story lines I’m following, which are Dragon Ball and One Punch Man.

And while both of them tie back into fitness incredibly well, I wanted to bring up a scene from the latter.

In One Punch Man, the main character Saitama is unassumingly yet comically strong.

He lives a pretty basic life, and the only thing that seems to truly bother him is the fact that he can’t find a challenging opponent to test his strength.

Every fight seems to end in one punch.

Hence the name of it.

Fairly early on, he ends up revealing the secret of his unimaginable strength to his opponent as well as his student Genos which was:

100 push ups
100 sit ups
100 squats
Then a 10 kilometer run…

Every single day for 3 years.

Genos thought he was full of it, and while there was probably something else going on there…

A lot can be taken from that.
