The Case Against Hiring An Online Personal Trainer

My mission is to help 1000s get in better shape without living in the gym or giving up their favorite foods through my content, programs, and online coaching offer.

So of all people, why would I tell you the reasons you shouldn’t get an online trainer?

Because it’s not for everyone.

Here are a few reasons why:

1. Online coaching costs money — Even though it’s the fraction of the price of in-person training and you generally get more guidance across the week, there’s still a price tag involved. You can easily look up diet and training info for free and apply it without paying a dime. This is what I did in the beginning.

2. You don’t like being told what to do — One of the biggest benefits of online coaching is it takes most of the thinking out of diet and exercise so you can simply do what you’re told to do in order to get results. But if you’d rather figure it out on your own, then it’s not a good option for you.

3. It takes commitment — Piggybacking on the money aspect, you don’t want to waste your investment if you’re not going to work the program. If you’re not ready to put in that work, then paying someone to help you might not be the best move right now. Better to find that drive to change your body first.
