The Coveted Calorie Deficit Doesn’t Work, Unless You Do THIS
There are two types of people in the world:
Those who understand what a calorie deficit is and those who don’t.
The former is a much smaller population than the latter, which makes sense because it’s not something you’re taught in school.
And even with all the information available online, it can still get confusing as to what it really means.
The straightforward definition is this:
A calorie deficit is when you burn more calories than you consume.
But here’s the big problem with that:
There’s no way to know exactly how many calories you burn on a given day, because all the calculators, FitBits, and Apple Watches out there are just educated guesses based on typical formulas.
So if you don’t know how much you’re actually burning, how in the world can you know how much to eat to lose weight?
Well, the answer is quite simple:
Use one of those formulas to find a starting point of how many calories to have, track every bit of food you eat and drink you sip in an app like MyFitnessPal, weigh yourself daily, and see what happens…
