Recently came an inquiry from a subscriber:

“I’d like your take on the journey of dieting down to reach 6-pack abs. Be a good segment that, mate.”

And so here it is:

Back in 2012 when I got started with diet and training, one of my goals was to get abs.

And by stroke of luck, I happened to come across the right info early on which revealed the real secret to getting 6-pack abs which is this:

Fix your diet and train abs properly.

There are 2 big misconceptions with getting abs and I’m going to break them down right now:

The first one is the classic idea that you have to train abs differently than any other muscle.

Lots of sets.

Lots of reps.

Lots of exercises.

“500 crunches per day”

“20 minute ab workouts”

No thanks.

Here’s the deal:

The rectus abdominis is the muscle we all want to reveal to get that 6-pack look.

And in order to get it to pop, all you have to do is improve your exercise technique and ab strength over time.
