The Most Disappointing 620 Calories I’ve Ever Eaten
Not too long ago, I took my wife and kids to the park for a nice day out as we have been known to do.
The sun was shining and there were countless smiles and squeals of excitement on the swings from both our babies.
I love these moments.
They give me such a warm feeling, and it’s just one of the many reasons I’m glad to be a dad.
After the park, we decided to get some ice cream because why not?
So I drove on over to Dairy Queen and got a kids ice cream cone to share with my daughters, a blue raspberry Misty Freeze for Martha, and for myself…
I grabbed a Nutter Butter Blizzard because I enjoy Nutter Butters and admittedly I’m a sucker for food marketing.
(I swear these marketing creatives could make hardtack look exciting…)
Considering I didn’t want to eat nearly a day’s worth of calories in a single serving of hyped-up, gravity-defying ice cream in a cup…
I went for a small.
Even then, it was still a whopping 620 calories.
And believe me, it was delicious.
