The Only 2 Ways To Handle Candy On A Diet
I must confess I’m no stranger to candy, even well after I was able to drop 30lbs and whip myself into shape.
I enjoy a good Reese’s cup or the 1001 different variations of them out there these days.
But over the years, I’ve discovered there are really only 2 ways to handle the unnecessary amount of candy available via holidays and far-too-convenient stores.
1. The ‘Cancel Candy’ Approach
If you’re anything like me, you may find yourself enjoying candy like a kid in a candy shop, or however that saying goes…
Back in 2019, Martha and I would buy 2 of the family size packs of Reese’s Thins nearly every week, which would be gone in 10 days or less.
While I thought I managed it well considering I could easily eat the whole bag in one sitting, there’s absolutely no reason I should have been having that many.
My solution? I stopped buying them.
It’s really hard to eat them if you don’t have them, and that same thing applies to any snack-like food you have trouble controlling.
