THIS Is Why I Don’t Recommend Specific Diets…
If you’ve spent any amount of time online in the fitness space, you’ll quickly realize you have a decision to make:
”Which diet cult do I join?”
Low carb, keto, carnivore, vegan, paleo…
And once you choose your cult, anyone else who thinks anything differently is a bad person and needs to do their research…
The crazy part is all these diets work for the same reason:
Calorie control.
I promise you it’s a whole lot harder to overeat on these types of diets because they restrict a lot of high calorie, low satiety foods.
But here’s the thing:
The reason I don’t recommend these types of diets is because of how restrictive they are.
My daughter wants to have ice cream with me?
“Sorry, I can’t. I only eat steak and eggs…”
My wife wants chicken nuggets, rice, and buttered carrots for dinner?
“Sorry, I can’t. Too many carbs…”
Again, I’m not saying these diets don’t work.
They absolutely do and have thousands upon thousands of success stories.
