Try This Weird Workout Tip For More Muscle Growth

A big issue a lot of people have with working out is not really feeling the muscle they’re trying to hit.
And one of the biggest keys to growing a muscle is putting tension on that muscle to stimulate it so it can recover and grow.
Fortunately, there’s a weird thing you can do to fix this issue so you can pretty much guarantee muscle growth over time.
First off, why does this happen?
Let’s use the bench press as an example:
There are 3 main muscles used in the lift, which are the chest, shoulders, and triceps.
And the order people generally feel the bench press is this:
1. Shoulders
2. Triceps
3. Chest
This is partially due to technique, so if benching feels bad or wrong, then work with the empty bar to fix that first.
Aside from that, it’s because the chest is the strongest muscle and the other two tend to tire out first.
So here’s the trick:
Do a chest exercise like a dumbbell fly, pec deck, or cable fly for 1–2 super light sets of 10–15 reps before you bench.
Focus really hard on squeezing the chest.
Then rest a few minutes before moving on to bench press and try to do the same squeeze on the chest during the movement.
Not only will you feel the chest more, you’ll also be able to stimulate more muscle growth and possibly correct a lot of technique issues.
The cool part?
You’ll get even more benefit even while using lighter weights.
So when you nail this down, you’ll grow even more as the weight gets heavier with a lower risk of injury because you’re able to use all the muscles effectively.
You can use this for all muscle groups too.
Not feeling the back much? Do light lat pullovers or shrugs first.
Not feeling the quads? Do light leg extensions first.
The whole idea is you do a bit of work on the muscle you’re not really feeling to get it active and moving.
And eventually you won’t need to do this weird tip anymore, because you’ll know how to feel the target muscle.
But here’s the catch…
None of this really matters if you’re not applying one particular principle I talk about on page 8 of The Ultimate Guide To Fat Loss.
