Sometimes the scale just won’t budge.

It’s okay.

The past week at my day job perfectly explains why:

I’ve been at my new job for a month now, and my whole purpose there is to sell a premium product that solves a specific issue.

I’ve gone from 0 to $11k in total personal sales in this new industry knowing absolutely nothing about the product before starting, which is cool.

But as with any true sales position, I have to build my customer base through walk-in traffic which will eventually lead to repeat and referral business.

And in the last week?

For whatever reason, the foot traffic was the lowest the store has seen in a long time.

On one hand, it can seem like the future of sales is bleak based on the current situation…

But since this is not my first sales job, I know this variable traffic is cyclical.

Here’s how I’m using it to my advantage:
