When You Feel Like Skipping Your Workout, Do THIS
The amount of 10pm workouts I’ve done lately is more than I’d ever like, especially since I wake up well before the crack of dawn…
But it’s been necessary, otherwise I’d barely hit the weights at all.
Let me give you the rundown:
I wake up sometime between 4 and 5, and get coffee I hopefully set to automatically brew the night before.
Around the same time, Martha gets up and brings our early-rising 4 month old to the living room so she doesn’t wake up our toddler.
So I’ll be with them for a little while, have some of the greatest conversations, and internally panic when I notice how fast the time flew by.
From there, I’ll speed run my daily email with ideally enough time to post it on my blog too, take our pup outside, shower, get ready, and book it out the door for an 11 hour shift managing an auto repair shop.
Depending on how busy the day is, those 11 hours can feel like 11 hours or 11 minutes, usually the latter, and then I make my way home.
Once I get home, I take my pup out and start getting dinner ready while Martha is taking care of our two bubbas.
