Whether You Get In Shape Or Not Is Up To You
A harsh truth is the fact that no one is going to do the dieting or lift the weights for you.
That’s on you.
And just to make things harder, some people you know will actively try to drag you down when they see you trying to make a change.
“Oh you don’t need to workout so much”
“Why are you on a diet? You look fine!”
“One cookie won’t hurt…”
Or the countless variations of this where they simply don’t value your goals and project their insecurities on you.
But we keep going anyway.
We’re on a mission here.
The fact that no one is going to save you is actually empowering.
Freeing in a sense.
Think about it this way:
Knowing you, and you alone, have to do the work to get the results you want puts the control back in your hands.
Not worrying about genetics, hormones, family history or other factors and focusing on what you can control is how you build the right habits and finally start making sustainable progress.
