Why It Took Me 17 Days To Do 3 Workouts…
I go on and on about being consistent with your diet and training in these articles and on YouTube and social media…
But I’m also no stranger to life getting in the way sometimes.
The week before last I didn’t hit the gym at all, which is kinda messed up considering the fact that the gym is a 17 second walk from the couch to the kitchen (to grab a drink) to the garage…
But every time I’d go to workout that week, my body was just telling me no either through some joint pain or body ache.
Here’s what I think happened:
I didn’t feel sick, but I must have caught something that gave me weird symptoms because I kept feeling the need to nap every day.
Fortunately that phase is done and over with.
But then it still took me 10 days to do 3 workouts.
The first two were on schedule, then either we had appointments or the babies needed me or I had job interviews, or knee pain, or back pain.
It was a mess, but yesterday I was finally able to hit a quick leg day and from here on out we’re back on schedule.
