Why The ‘Get Fit Quick’ Mentality Is Ruining Your Progress
When I graduated high school back in 2007, I was 145lbs at 5'11" and was one of those types who could eat anything I wanted and not gain weight.
Or so I thought…
Because that’s what friends and family would say.
“Gabe, I don’t know where you put it! If I ate like that, I’d gain 20 pounds overnight!”
Well little did I know, my life circumstances would change dramatically and my physique followed suit over the next several years…
Instead of going to school, working a part time job stocking shelves and selling printers 3–4 days per week, and skateboarding or playing basketball any chance I got…

(name that movie)
Needless to say, I wasn’t moving nearly as much as I was before and tripling my income made buying 3–4 meals out per day super easy as a 19 year old.
Eventually I lost that job due to my 2001 convertible Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder virtually imploding beyond repair…
